Connected TV is becoming increasingly popular, and advertisers are leveraging YouTube's massive audience of over 150 million monthly viewers in the living room. Google has introduced the Google TV network, expanding advertisers' reach to the big screen. This network allows for targeted advertising across more than 20 million monthly active devices on Google TV and other Android TV OS platforms.


Google TV is compatible with devices from leading brands such as Sony, Hisense, TCL, and Chromecast, offering access to a vast array of content across 10,000 apps. It features Google Assistant, smart home capabilities, built-in channels, and personalized recommendations, enhancing the viewing experience.


The network boasts in-stream video inventory on over 125 channels, including live sports, TV shows, and movies. With 60% of U.S. households now watching free, ad-supported streaming services, Google TV viewers spend an average of 75 minutes daily on the platform's free channels. Google TV supports various ad formats, including non-skippable and 6-second bumper ads, with plans to introduce more formats in the future.


Advertisers can access the Google TV network through Google Ads and Google Display & Video 360, allowing for integrated planning, purchasing, and measurement of campaigns. This integration enables advertisers to include Google TV in their video campaigns alongside YouTube, maximizing reach on home screens.
